"State of the Union" Wins Emmy Award!
Last night at the Creative Arts Prime Time Emmy Awards, State of the Union was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Makeup For A Single-camera Series (non-prosthetic) for Episode 102. Congratulations to Sally Craven, and Matthew Mungle, who help Tracey bring her characters alive!
Union was nominated in three categories:
* Emmy – Outstanding Makeup For A Single-camera Series (non-prosthetic)
* Emmy – Outstanding Hairstyling For A Single-camera Series
* Emmy – Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup For A Series, Miniseries, Movie Or A Special

In mid-August we updated you about the November 11th DVD release of Tracey Ullman's State of the Union - The Complete Season 1. We had cover art for you, but we also had our first hint of the extras on this release from Eagle Vision Media. Now we've got a more complete list of bonus material for this release:
* Blooper and Outtake Reels
* Character Screen Tests with commentary from Tracey
* Making of the Opening Sequence with commentary from Tracey
* Extra Material
* Deleted Scenes
We've also learned that this will come in "Eco-box packaging", which all of us (and the environment) will appreciate! Here's a look at that front cover art:
